"Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still."— Dorothea Lange

About Me

I am Ehsan Shayegan. My appreciation for art and creativity has inspired me to take photographs and to share what I see with others. This photoblog is a reflection of my vision, my mind, and my imgination. I hope to keep up my motivation and to learn more about photography through this medium.

My Fovea

The fovea, a part of the eye, is a spot located in the center of the macula. It is a small pale spot about the size of a pinhead. The fovea is responsible for our sharp central vision, which is necessary in humans for any activity where visual detail is of primary importance. Considering the above definition, this photoblog was named "My Fovea".

Photo Gear

I am currently using Canon's 350D camera along with two lenses: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. Adobe PhotoShop CS3 is used for image processing.
